ohhhh [21 Apr 2008|01:20pm] [ music | huggy bear ] knitting a chair is not as easy as I first anticipated. work is slow and dull. I am so fed up of schoolwork. I haven't finished my essay yet. Its due next week, I've only written a quarter. At least summer is nearly here! I can't wait til summer. Band practice was good, I smashed my leg with the tamborine and have a bruise the size of a melon. we have some rubbish songs on myspace. its weird because we've been offered shows and stuff already, I guess no-fi weirdnoise is popular! post comment

I am thinking about getting a dress for jons wedding on friday. I bought a green cardigan today, it cost £4, and some mushrooms in a paper bag for 38p! I rode my bike home and it started raining and I nearly fell off as my basket was loaded down. brighton was fun! It was ok, I got to watch some vincent price stuff with adi and drunk some wine, it was hard keeping my head still, think craig got a bit annoyed with me...I;m going to be shot in the neck in 2 weeks. [19 Feb 2007|11:59am] [ music | black lips ] Today I worked all day which was OK and then me and ted went to the imperial for tea in the rain, but when we got there there were loads of horrible men and nowhere to sit and so we went to the firehouse in the rain which was good as I had homity pie and it was YUMMy., and I spoke to emma on the phone for a while which was nice, and helin too, who has a new BF (kind of), also ems coming down at the weekend which is cool as helin is too so we might go out on friday night and have a fun time, ,, maybe. DONT KNOW¬!¬¬!!! [18 Feb 2007|05:33pm] [ music | melt banana ] Its cold but I have a new red raincoat that I found pretty cheap yesterday in a second hand shop. What makes it so good is that it is REVERSIBLE. Last night I went for drinks with Lesley and HAna at the angel, they sell sailor jerry rum and I got quite excited and texted emma to tell her, as shes obsessed with sailor jerry stuff. We will go there when she is next in town. I like the Angel, its a nice pub that I should like to go to more often. We were there for about half an hour when Ade turned up and decided to join us, making it a non-girls night out, and in the end ted, dan and craig came too, which was fun all in all. Ade says hes a workaholic which I find amusing!!! I've decided to go back to Goldsmiths and finish my degree in september (if they let me)/ Its the best thing to do I think and since I decided I feel a lot better about the future! I haven't done anything exciting, things are weird all the time and works no fun and I have a constant cold but there are good things too...me and dan have some good camp x-ray shows coming up and fake fight are doing a show with lianne hall and ray spoon and someone else...which will be ace too. 1 comment|post comment

Today it was Maisies 6th birthday and we went round at the end of her cat-themed party and gave her her present (which was the sylvanian family canal boat and the otter family, IT COST LOADS.) but it was worth it because she was so busy setting it up she didn't have time to say goodbye when we had to leave which was funny. This morning my mother came over, she did the weeks washing up while I slept for a bit and then we did some christmas shopping. We had tea in the cavern and then I went to the library and then met ted who drove in to town. All afternoon I felt weird. Now I feel better, probably because im at my parents house and posy is driving me mad. 1 comment|post comment

I guess I'm having a tough time just, well, living...I'm sick to death of hearing about peoples pathetic problems and people signing off sick at work because their ex boyfriend has a new girlfriend and they're on anti-depressants because of it etc. I KNOW its horrible and it feels like the end of the world, but we've all been there and done that and to be honest, its not called depression its called BEING NORMAL. if you weren't upset there WOULD be something wrong. Its just the people that milk stuff like that that really piss me off. I know people with far more complex problems who suffer in silence most of the time and probably don;t even have the courage to speak to a Doctor about things rather than go around bleating about their insecurities in public. People who are really ill do not generally make a big show of it and i'm fed up of people who should know better wallowing in self-pity. GRrrr.rant over. (this is about one particular person who is annoying me, not people in general) My mouse Linus died on Thursday. She was curled up in the corner. I'm going to bury her tomorrow morning in the garden at my mums house. She was ill for a while and though i'm obviously sad, I'm glad that she died in her sleep. Fred the cat is also very ill at the moment, he has a brain tumor and probably won't live for much longer. we've had him for years and years and years and he's very old and only got half an ear and is probably the most lovely cat i've ever met. When I came home today Flo had done a painting of him all curled up by the tea pot. hopefully it won;t be too long til my next entry. 6 comments|post comment

Strange going on here for the first time in ages and both emma and alice had thought the same. Nothing has really changed for me since I last wrote. I am still living in Exeter. Last night I wallpapered half the sitting room with 70's sick green patterned paper. I have been working at kitsch-u-like 6 days a week which has been tough but good. I wish I didn't have to go back to the cavern in term time...grrr post comment
